Understanding the financial side of care is an important part of deciding what feels possible for you. At Heart Stone, I believe conversations about access, affordability, and the cost of services deserve the same openness and care as the work itself.
Below you'll find information about session fees, insurance, and options for making services more accessible. If you have questions or would like to explore what might work for you, I welcome you to reach out.
Session Fees
Psychotherapy
Individual Therapy
$180 per 60-minute session
Couples Therapy

These are standard private-pay rates. If you plan to use insurance, your out-of-pocket costs will depend on your individual plan and benefits.
Individual TCTSY
Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) offers an opportunity to explore movement, breath, and present-moment experience through an accessible, choice-based practice.
45-minute session: $135
60-minute session: $180
Individual TCTSY sessions are offered as a separate service from psychotherapy and are private pay.
Fees & Insurance
Insurance & Reimbursement
Heart Stone accepts the following insurance plans for eligible psychotherapy services:
Aetna
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
Mass General Brigham Health Plan
Optum
Tufts Health Plan
UnitedHealthcare
Wellpoint
Insurance coverage and benefits vary depending on your specific plan and the services you're seeking. Before beginning services, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to understand your behavioral health benefits, including copayments, deductibles, and any authorization requirements.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your individual plan and is not guaranteed.
Insurance coverage for couples therapy and other non-psychotherapy services may differ. Please reach out to discuss coverage before scheduling.
Solidarity Sliding Scale
Access to care is shaped by many things, including financial circumstances. Heart Stone offers a solidarity sliding scale as one way of supporting greater access to meaningful care.
A solidarity model recognizes that we don't all have the same financial resources. Those who are able to pay the standard rate help make reduced-fee spaces available to others who may need them.
If the standard session fee feels outside your current budget, reach out to start a conversation about a reduced rate. These conversations are approached with openness and respect. There is no expectation to justify your circumstances or share more than feels comfortable.
Sliding-scale availability and rates are considered on an individual basis. My hope is to find an arrangement that feels accessible while also allowing the practice to remain sustainable.
Consultation & Professional Services
Heart Stone offers consultation and collaborative support for clinicians, yoga teachers, studios, healing arts practitioners, and organizations interested in integrating trauma-informed, relational, and embodied approaches into their work.
Individual Professional Consultation
$180 per hour
Group TCTSY
Starting at $200 per hour
Group TCTSY offerings are available to agencies, corporations, mental health practices, healthcare settings, and community organizations. Rates may vary based on group size, location, travel, and the scope of programming. Offerings can be shaped in conversation with each organization to consider the needs of the group and setting.
Scheduling & Practice Policies
Cancellation Policy
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a fee equal to the full session rate. Late cancellation fees are the client's responsibility and cannot be billed to insurance.
Good Faith Estimates
If you are uninsured or choosing to pay privately rather than use insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services. These estimates can be provided before beginning care, in accordance with applicable federal requirements.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or finding an option that feels manageable, please reach out. We can explore the possibilities together.
